Supporting Newman Ministry

The Newman Center is in great need of donations to not only maintain the regular ministry to students, but more importantly, to increase the level of service available to students, and make our facilities more student-friendly.

If you are interested in helping us improve the physical aspect of our Newman Center (i.e. chapel, library, lounges), or help improve spiritual programs offered to students (i.e. retreats, bible studies, faith-formation classes, liturgical ministries), please contact Father Brownsey or Phil Lee at 309-674-0208, fatherbrownsey@bradleynewman.org, or phil@bradleynewman.org.

Your donation helps:

  • Offer Bible studies and necessary texts to students
  • Improve our outreach to college students on campus
  • Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) missionaries to do outreach; one-on-one mentoring; and small-group, bible-based catechesis
  • Provide the essentials for our Koinonia retreats
  • Make mission trips and service projects possible
  • Bring guest speakers who can speak on important, timely issues to Newman
  • Pay for vocation discernment programs and trips to seminaries and convents in the Midwest
  • Improve our St. Joseph Student Chapel
  • Purchase books and informative movies for our Fulton Sheen Student Library
  • Maintain and improve our building
  • Pay for social outings and Christian fellowship events
  • Financially support staff salaries
  • Make staff retreats and faith formation feasible
